In close cooperation with SIPRI and the FU Berlin, Coconets created the Global Challenges portal that allows 13 researchers from different countries around the world, experts from so-called think tanks, to generate policy-relevant ideas and recommendations. Experts report back from their national capitals and create a common knowledge base on the portal.

• Using the portal, members can collect and share, categorize (tag) and re-assemble resources and newly produced content
• The portal supports several authors to collaborate on new content, to co-write and publish articles
• In the discussion area, experts are able to post background information on concepts and relevant issues, exchange ideas and discuss their new findings
